Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I join a wing?

When you first start out in any of the servers you will be ranked as an Airman Basic, and you will be given credits and a few planes to start with. When you start you are in the "Newbie School" wing. Follow the instructions sent to you and those on the wing's forum. Once you have reached the rank of Senior Airman, you can leave the Newbie School wing. Now you are considered a freelancer and do not belong to a wing. You can apply to a wing that is not full by selecting Wings from the pulldown menu at the top of the screen labeled "List/Ranking" and press View. You can apply for a wing that is open, or send your application to the CO or VCO. Additionally you can send them a message kindly asking them to accept your application. You need to belong to a wing to fly a sortie; you need to fly sorties to earn your hourly salary.

Another way of finding a wing to scout is to press select "Wings List" in the pull down menu at the top of the screen labeled "List/Ranking" and press View. This brings up a list of wings in the game. Find an enemy and press "Scout" in left side of table. You cannot scout any wing that has protected in the column labeled scout, as they are safe from attacks for a short period of time after creation.
