Changes Version 1.30
- Infrastructure Changes:
  - Change to the Build Verification Code
    You will be asked less often to input the code
    With cookies enabled in your browser, it will not ask again if you left the infrastructure page for less than 30 minutes.
  - Highway cost increased from 1000 to 3000 credits.
    Highways are important for your industrial buildings, but should not be the main structure for a wing. Price increased to discourage highway-only wings.
  - Maximum number of one type of building set to 100. [Inchon only]
    This limit will increase number of different surface targets, and stimulate wings to have a (partly) functioning wing infrastructure.
  - Wings starting infrastructure increased from 5 to 10 buildings of each type, per sector.
    Decreases investment needed to build up the wing, while still providing room for additional structures by choice.
- Combat / Weapon Changes:
  - Auto-Return-Fire Bug has been fixed.
  - Price Calculation form bug has been fixed for browser FireFox 3.
  - "Heavy" missiles (AIM-54, R-33, R-37) do slightly less damage.
    These missiles (and associated planes) should not win dogfights, but intercept bombers.
- Credit Changes:
  - Wing starting funds increased from 1 million to 10 million credits.
    Decreases commander's investment needed, making it easier to start a wing and improving the wing's first-day chances to survive.
  - Character starting funds increased from 600,000 to 1 million credits.
    New player: less impact of initial bad buying decision or first loss(es): player can afford another plane (but still has to spend wisely).
    Restarting player: enables longer active play, more to spend before payments come in, thus easier to rank up fast. (but still has to spend credits wisely/bomb for credits to avoid running out of credits before enough is earned).
- Pilots-per-Wing Changes:
  - Barbarossa changed to 20 pilots per wing, but 10 spots are reserved for lower ranked players (up to Captain).
    This means if the other 10 spots are taken by pilots with the rank of Major or higher, only pilots with ranks up to Captain are able to join. If you have already 10 low ranked players in your wing, the next joining members can be of any rank. The limit on Adm of A00 still applies.
  - Inchon changed back to 15 pilots per wing, but 5 spots are reserved for lower ranked players (up to Captain).
    This means if the other 10 spots are taken by pilots with the rank of Major or higher, only pilots with ranks up to Captain are able to join. If you have already 5 low ranked players in your wing, the next joining members can be of any rank. The limit on Adm of A00 still applies.
    
    Please note that lower ranks can rank up after joining, without having to leave the wing. Thus a wing full of high ranks is still possible. Spot for high ranks are not reserved, so a wing full of low ranks is also still possible.
    
    Even if admitted by the CO/VCO, you may still not get in because of your rank. Likewise if your rank is low, you may still need to be accepted by the CO/VCO.
- Character Changes
  - If you deleted your character yourself, you can create a new character after 24 hours (changed from 72hrs).
    If staff deleted your character, the 72 hours (3 days) cool-down before you can recreate still applies.
- Jafa's Parts
  - Previous Patch has been uninstalled.
    No longer necessary.
- Bomber Pilot Rating
  - Bomber Pilot Rating Bug Fixed
    Rating remains the same, but fixed bug that occured when Structures Killed is really high, this required small change in how it calculates. Because of this, your new rating is slightly different due to rounding having different effect.

Cockpit changes:
- Several measures have been taken to stop players from using invalid lock-fire sequences. This means no back-button (repeat) use!
- Several measures have been taken to prevent usage of refreshers in the cockpit.
- If you think you used the cockpit correctly, and in the correct sequence, but still received errors. Then please submit a bug report to the helpdesk describing what you did or what happened, and the reported error including debug code.

Balancing: Equipment changes:
- CAPTOR (Typhoon radar) offers slightly less accuracy.
- Khishnik (Su-34 radar) offers slightly more AS accuracy.
- AWG-9 (F-14 radar) AA accuracy increased.
- APG-79 (F/A-18E radar) offers slightly more AA accuracy.
- APG-80 (F-16 radar) offers slightly more AA accuracy.
- Panda (Su-30MK radar) offers slightly less accuracy.
Balancing: Missile changes:
- R-77M max damage decreased to 380.
- R-33 accuracy slightly decreased.

Corrections: Aircraft
- MiG-35: hardpoints 10->9, R-73 on wingtips, and arming examples.
- B-52: internal Mk.84 6->8, external AGM-142 2->3.
- Su-34: KAB-250 removed from outer wing and wingtip.
- F-35B: GAU-22 gunpod removed from arming example, as it caused credits miscalculation.
- B-2A: added precision arming example.

Combat System changes:
- Fixed bug air-to-air combat
  Fixed a bug in the game's air-to-air combat (dogfight) system, affecting the way damage is calculated.
- Return fire now automatically selects weapon with highest attack/damage
  This enables you to carry smaller air-to-air missiles too.
- Accuracy factor against fighters for the heavy, long-range missiles lowered to 0.8
- IR-guided missiles cannot be jammed
- Increased effectiveness of the wing's defensive airplanes.
Air Defense System changes:
- Stealth: Stealth aircraft are only successfully engaged on occasion
- Altitude: Your altitude is randomly selected per sector based on your aircraft's common flying altitude.
- Engagement and damage are based on effectiveness of the system
  - You will not be engaged by an air defense system, if it has 0% effectiveness at your altitude.
  - If your altitude is for example 50% low, 50% medium. On average the air defense system which is not effective at low altitude, but only at medium, will only try to engage you 50% of the time.
  - If your altitude is 100% medium. The air defense system with 50% effectiveness at medium altitude will only hit you half the time on average and at half its potential damage.
- Air defense systems do more damage
- Tanks join the air defense, if the aircraft is flying low
Aircraft Changes
- NEWBIE Server: instead of Double HP all aircraft have 300 extra points.
- New aircraft:
  - All: Su-30MK multi-role fighterbomber
  - Donor: Tu-95MS Bear-H strategic bomber

Wing Radar will no longer display aircraft with stealth ability.
R-77 damage is increased to 350.
Only 50% of the wing members can be Admiral of Area00. In Newbie and CoralSea server maximum number is 5. In Inchon and Alamo server it is 7. In other servers it is 10.
New Wing Equipment: Airborne Early Warning (AEW) aircraft.
Bought by the FO, this will enable the production of the E-3 computer planes by your factories. The E-3 will not only provide radar coverage for the sector, but also increase the accuracy of other computer planes when attacking a bogey.
Scramble Light
It will turn on when there is a bogey flying in your airspace. But it will only work if you have a working radar or E-3 AWACS computer plane in the sector.
MiG-31 is no longer able to equip Zhuk radar.
Hospital recovery time will depend on your Stamina level.
If Finance Officer deposits wing money to a member, this will be logged in the wing news.

Players have no wing (freelancers) can dogfight in Area00 Dogfight Arenas. To enter the Arenas, click Fly in your left menu bar.

Wing cannot be disbanded.
- When a wing has only one pilot (CO), he/she cannot leave his/her wing.
Newbie School Wing removed from all non-newbie regular/expert servers.
- Newbie School wing will remain only in Newbie,Inchon and Temasek server. Members in Newbie School wing in non newbie server will be out of the wing automatically and become freelancers when the server is updated with version 1.23.
Building restriction
- Wing cannot have more than XXX buildings of the same type in each sector. In Newbie and CoralSea server maximum is 100. In Inchon and Alamo server maximum is 150. In other servers maximum is 200.
- Example) In Newbie server, wing cannot have more than 100 command centers in each sector.
- This won't affect buildings already built.

On all non-newbie regular/expert game servers, requirement to create wings changed You need 2 factors to create wing:

JavaScript error with Opera and Netscape browsers fixed
- Scroll down menu in the top menu bar and a radar switch in cockpit were not compatible with Opera browser.
- Functions of top menu bar (new message indication, etc) and "Your Office" link in the left menu bar were not working with Netscape browser.

Infrastructure system has been changed.
- Nuke center replaced to Nuclear Plant. It supplies power for factory and radar station
- Residence supplies workers for factory, oil refinery and (nuclear) power plant.
- Oil refinery produces fuel for power plant, enables cheaper fuel.
  - Refueling cost displays when you refuel your aircraft manually in "Status" menu.
- Highway supplies for factory, oil refinery and (nuclear) power plant.
  
  * Please check the infrastructure menu for dependencies between buildings.
CO has more responsibility.
- For 72 hours after a wing created, CO cannot abdicate his position, the wing cannot be disbanded.

FIX: A half million fine will be charged if Command Officer abdicates command. If your credit is lower than 1 milion, your request will be rejected.
FIX: A 1 million fine will be charged if Command Officer disbands a wing (by leaving his/her wing). If your credit is lower than 1 milion, your request will be rejected.
FIX: (New Area00 Guardian Privileges) A guardian can transfer credits to any pilot without bank fee. It is a right of Area00 guardian since the guardian program started. Now it is supported by the game system.

BUG: Top ranked players (Admiral of A00) were unable to lose experience points or be demoted when they shot down.
FIX: Maximum experience point is 90 million. Players can gain exp after reaching top rank.
FIX: new ranking, Top Experienced Player added. It is sorted by exp.
FIX: A list of online players split to show players and staffs differently.
FIX: You cannot deposit wing money into a wingmember if wing money is lower than 3 million credits.
FIX: You cannot transfer your credit if your credit is lower than 2 million credits.
FIX: A player flying with Falcon 50 cannot log a sortie or a wing kill.
FIX: Maximum ally is limited to 3 from 5.
FIX: When you shot down by an enemy's defensive structure, you will lose experience points as same as the case of dogfight against enemy player. It will be less than with old rule.
FIX: The maximum amount of credit a player can have has been increased to 2,000 million from 999 million.
FIX: The minimum rank needed to be a wing officer is 2nd Lieutenant.
FIX: The maximum vacation time has been increased to 60 days from 28 days.
BUG: When a wing commander (CO) was deleted, a position of CO was not abdicated to next chain of command automatically.

FIX: IMPORTANT!! NEW DOGFIGHT SYSTEM

Let's say player A dogfights player B:

1st	A shot down B	A gains 100% bounty bonus, B loses full
2nd	A shot down B	A gains 75% bounty bonus, B loses full
3rd	A shot down B	A gains 50% bounty bonus, B loses full
4th	A shot down B	A gains 25% bounty bonus, B loses full
5th	A shot down B	A gains 0% bounty bonus, B loses full
If A shot down B more than 5 times, A gets zero exp and B lose full exp.

Your dogfight information will be saved for 48 hours from last dogfight against same oppenent.
You will record all kills/shot downs.
practical explanation:
once you have won 4 times from the same opponent, you will no longer gain experience, you already have the experience to shoot him down, so you are no longer learning anything from the fight. Until you either forgot or your opponent has learned some new ways to fight you ==> 48 hours...

BUG: If a gunpod was equipped on any slot of weapon station, the system calculated its weight wrongly.
FIX: the thrust of all Charger items and few Engine items increased.
FIX: the empty weight and base lifting power of all aircrafts changed.

BUG: After the server rebooted, the system load affects of broken items shouldn't be applied to the aircraft. So some aircrafts got more ability.

BUG: After the server rebooted, the system did not calculate the weight of fuel in the aircraft loaded from the database. So the aircraft became light and receive less weight-penalty on Speed, Mobility and Fuel Consume rate.
FIX: In the "Status" menu, you can see original Speed, Mobility and Fuel Consume Rate and their weight-penalty-applied values. You can see Analysis in the bottom of the "Status" page.
FIX: Area00 Guadian has additional shelter.

ADD: 36th aircraft, Falcon 50 added. It is available only for Area00 Guardian. It cannot be attacked but it has no attacking ability. It cannot set its radar on lookdown mode so it cannot see ground structures or units. Click here to view the announcement.
FIX: Bar graph generator for cockpit converted in PHP to reduce JavaScript error.
FIX: A player under 2nd Lietenant won't be backup by the system.
FIX: Area00 Guadian has no need to have the special aircraft shop ticket to buy special planes.

FIX: A player can turn on/off the vacation mode at Pilot Lounge.

Official Changes on May 25, 2003

FIX:A new player who creates an account is allowed to create new character only in below servers for 2 weeks from his/her account creation. This is to decrease fast creation of false/multi accounts.

FIX: A player can select the wing protection time when he/she creates a wing. But now CO cannot get out of protection while his/her wing is under protection.
FIX: "sub-wing kill" has been back. If a wing destroyed, all scouting pilots will be bring back to their wing and get 1 wing kill record. This is to encourage wing battles until new wing kill system is ready.
Payment System is being tested:
Your hourly payment depends on your rank and your average Bounty Bonus of the past 24 hours.
- If a player did not log a sortie for the past 24 hours, he/she receives no hourly payment.
- If a player is inactive in destroying other wing's structure, defensive structure or computer planes, he/she will receive only a minimum payment.
- If a player is active, he/she will receive an increased payment.
  hourly payment = ( base payment + ( ABR x 4 ) ) x bank skill bonus
- A hourly payment cannot exceed the amount of (minimum payment x 4)
- * Bounty Reward means the credits you receive if you destroy enemy wing structures, defensive structures and computer planes.
- * ABR(Average Bounty Reward) means an average amount of bounty reward of the past 24 hours.
FIX: A player cannot transfer wing money to a wing member for 24 hours after a creation of wing.
A player cannot create new wing for 24 hours after a creation of wing.
New wing will be protected for at least 1 hour.
ADD: Added a feature of "page" for message and forum modules.
BUG: If a staff left wing as CO, the system sets someone else to CO even if there is an another CO.
FIX: Fixed an error in the armament table of Mirage2000
FIX: Wing Protection Time has been increased to 24 hours from 6 hours. If you create new wing, your wing will be protected for maximum 24 hours. Command Officer can decide to get out of protection at Your Office menu.
BUG: When your plane gets landed because the wing you were flying is destroyed or when you freezed by staff, your armament setting do not get loaded.
FIX: All CGIs of game server converted to PHP. This is a work for version II.
BUG: Fix a bug with message system, if you send a message to Alliance Commander, your message will be returned to your wing Command Officer (number of allies)-times.
ADD: An anti-flooding function for forum and message system. A player must wait 5 seconds to send new message or make new post.
FIX: When a player try to create wing, the system compare the wing name with other wing names already exist, case insensitive. This is to prevent a creation of "78th SQDN" when "78th sqdn" already exists.
FIX: If a player character deleted, the system backs up his/her data if his/her original rank(ever accomplished once) is higher than Senior Airman. Before this update, it depends on current rank, so higher ranked player who has been demoted to Airman couldn't be backup.
FIX: A function posts a reply has an increased stability.
BUG: Fix a bug with User Server, when the system send the letter of account deletion, User Server often goes down.

ADD: New 8 medals added. Refer this page: http://korea.area00.com/help/character.html#medals. A player has already accomplished requirements to be awarded will get new medals one by one after killing something.
FIX: Medals listed by an order in the ViewProfile module.
FIX: Wing Office, Pilot, Wing Radar, Shelter, Members, Inventory, Arming, Cockpit, Record, Forum menus converted to PHP. ViewProfile module converted to PHP. I look forward an increased stability.
BUG: few bugs in the new Messages menu fixed.
FIX: Some vulgarities are screened in Message and Forum menu.
FIX: If a player is a member of newbie wing, he/she doesn't log a sortie.
BUG: A-10 could take off without engines by only its lift force because the program did check aircraft's weight but not if engine(s) is functioning.
ADD: If a player delete himself/herself, IP address logged. This info. will be used to check if a player insists he/she got hacked.
TYPO: one typing error in Defence Net. menu fixed.
ADD: B-2A Spirit bomber added as a donor plane. It's performance and armament are still being adjusted and developed. It's price reflects real world.

FIX: If a player receives an invitation or CO recives an admission, the new-message indicator turns on.
BUG: Fixed a bug with a player's timezone setting. If a player changes his/her timezone at "Account Management" menu, the change was not applied to game servers at all.
FIX: Tu160 Blackjack has one additional weapon station and increased capacity to load 12 Kh-15 missiles. This is according to the fact.
BUG: I am trying to fix a bug with players get multiple wing-kill record for one wing kill.
BUG: Fix a bug with a dual-engine aircraft cannot fly with one engine.
ADD: AGM-154A, AGM-154C added for testing.
BUG: Fix a bug with total wing number is counted abnormaly. (I expect TopWing and WingNetworth will be genareted well by fixing this bug)
Fixed an error with cockpit interface of Player vs. Player combat.
ADD: A radar has been added for B-2A.

FIX: Message (SatCom) module and Edit-wing-guideline module converted to use PHP (from using C language).
FIX: make the system get the current time value before loading database to avoid a zero-time bug completely.
